The COMPASS Award is an initiative of the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) that recognizes agencies that have consistently performed beyond standard regulatory compliance and have achieved excellence in providing quality supports and services. The Award is indicative of Makor’s commitment to the ideals of empowerment, person-centered planning, and continual quality improvement.
Of more than 800 provider agencies in New York State, Makor is one of only four to achieve this distinction.
